iTable

An Interactive Multi-touch Table

Abstract

"iTable" is an interactive multi-touch table designed to be used in a home environment. It incorporates a simple and intuitive user interface based upon the tangible user interfaces technology. The design does not consider a specific use of the table, rather to be a general table, with its height between a coffee table and a dining table. The table interacts with the users (family members living in a home) and objects placed on it, with simple but useful applications.

"iTable" är ett interaktivt multi-touch bord designat för att användas i hemmiljö. Det innehåller ett enkelt och intuitivt användargränssnitt baserat på greppbar användargränssnitts teknik. Designen är inte inriktad för ett specifikt sorts bord, snarare som ett allmänt bord,  med en höjd mellan ett kaffebord och ett matbord. Bordet interagerar med användare (familjemedlemmar boende i ett hem) och föremål placeras på det, med enkla och praktiska tillämpningar.
